Hi, Tim Lutz here.
I started working on bikes as a kid, earned years of hands-on
experience, and finally got a gig working as a mechanic at a local
bike shop in junior high. Yes, I've been in this business that long. 35
years! WOW.
After years of managing for a local bike shop I decided to start
my own shop in Little Chute. After 3 years, and a business
partnership that went south (I sold my business due to
circumstances beyond my control), I decided to jump ship from my
beloved shop and, again, start working on bikes solo... in addition
to securing a position as a full time career firefighter with the Appleton
Fire
Department (over 15 years now).
We provide personalized, one-on-one bicycle repairs to
customers in the Appleton and surrounding suburban areas from a new little
shop
on the south side of Appleton. This newly built area was constructed from
the ground up thanks to all the help of my family and friends.
Construction started October 2015, and after decades of trail and error of
what makes the ultimate bike service area awesome, it's finally a reality,
and a dream come true! Well almost, still wish it could have been 5 times
bigger, but cozy is good, right?

We also customize special needs bikes for people who need a little
assistance. My Dad was an occupational therapist and we can design a bike
especially for you at a very affordable price.
As time permits (working around family needs) I can come to you,
repair and replace what is necessary and be gone in a flash. No
waiting a month for your local high school kid (with an unknown
level of experience) at the bike shop to experiment with your bike,
nor will you need to dirty up your car to haul it to the repair shop - or
better yet drop off the bike at my shop 24/7.
